At Roheda, we take great pride in offering high-quality, hand block-printed home textiles crafted in Jaipur and Udaipur. Each product is made with care, celebrating the rich heritage of Indian crafts.
We understand that sometimes a product may not meet your expectations. This policy outlines the terms and conditions for returns, exchanges, and refunds, in compliance with Indian consumer protection laws.
1. Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges
You may request a return or exchange if:
- The product delivered is defective, damaged in transit, or incorrect.
- The product differs significantly from the description or images provided on our website.
- You notify us within 7 days of receiving the order.
Not eligible for return/exchange:
- Products that have been used, washed, or altered.
- Customised, monogrammed, or made-to-order items.
- Products purchased during clearance or sale events.
- Minor variations in colour, print, or weave. These are natural outcomes of hand block printing and not considered defects.
2. Process for Return/Exchange
- Place a return/exchange request directly through our website or mobile app within 7 days of receiving your order.
- Upload images of the product/packaging and provide the reason for return/exchange.
- Customers must ship the product to our Udaipur warehouse address (details shared upon approval).
- Once the product is received and inspected, we will process your exchange/refund within 7–10 working days.
3. Refunds
- Refunds will be made to the original mode of payment.
- For COD (Cash on Delivery) orders, refunds will be issued via bank transfer/UPI to the customer’s provided details.
- Since shipping costs are already included in the product price, a standard shipping charge will be deducted from the refund amount (except in cases where the product was defective or wrongly delivered).
- Shipping charges are non-refundable.
4. Exchanges
- If you wish to exchange an item for a different size or product of equal/higher value, the request must be placed within 7 days of delivery.
- Exchange is subject to product availability.
- If the replacement product costs more, the customer will need to pay the difference.
5. Cancellations
- Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placing the order by submitting a cancel request directly through our website or mobile app.
- Once an order has been processed or shipped, cancellations will not be possible.
- If the payment has already been made, the refund will be initiated within 7–10 working days to the original payment method.
6. Legal Compliance
This policy is framed in accordance with:
- Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (India)
- Consumer Protection (E-commerce) Rules, 2020
- Applicable state laws in Rajasthan
